Like many of her colleagues, young Kristine wanted to make a difference in people's lives and decided medicine would give her the best opportunity to fulfill that goal. Now as Dr. Arthur, she believes in treating the whole patient, not just focusing on one area. "Many health problems have multiple components that must be addressed in order to optimize health. That's why I chose the field of Internal Medicine. It looks at the body as a whole and integrates all aspects of a person's health." Dr. Arthur derives great enjoyment and satisfaction from the patient-physician relationship and working to get patients to the point where they feel their best. As part of her "Whole patient" philosophy, she likes to address issues such as diet, exercise and lifestyle to try to prevent future illness.

"The key to being a good doctor is truly listening to what the patient has to say and establishing a trust that enables patients to feel comfortable enough to discuss any problem with their physician."

A former competitive figure skater, Dr. Arthur is currently learning how to golf. Additionally in her off time, she enjoys watching football and basketball, traveling, and working out. Dr. Arthur is excited about joining Bristol Park Medical Group. "I love living and working in Orange County. People here seem to have a positive attitude about health and life in general."
