Dr. Wass' strong desire to keep the whole family healthy was a big part of why he chose a career in medicine as a Family Medicine physician. His philosophy in medicine is to treat the whole person, physically and emotionally, not just the ailments and symptoms. He is always grateful for the opportunity to oversee his patient's general well-being as well as guide and support them through a sometimes difficult journey of recovery.
Dr. Wass' participation in high school and college sports influenced his interest in sports medicine. He currently serves as a team physician for the University High School football team in Irvine.
Every other week, Dr. Wass also volunteers at a community health clinic in Watts providing medical services to the underserved without health insurance coverage. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, and playing golf and tennis.
