After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree and medical degree out of state, Dr. Nguyen happily returned home to Orange County to complete his internship and residency at UCI Medical Center. While there, he was honored with the designation of Chief Resident and he continues to serve as an Ambassador for the Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Nguyen has a special interest in health maintenance and geriatrics.

The desire to help people runs in Dr. Nguyen's family as all three of his older siblings also practice medicine. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, kayaking, photography, traveling, and spending time with family, friends and his two dogs. In addition, he is an avid sports fan and likes working on cars.
