“Dishing the Dirt” on the Costa Mesa Groundbreaking

The Costa Mesa mayor lent a hand as the ceremonial shovel was stuck in the dirt and ground was broken on the new Costa Mesa office.

On July 2, Mayor Eric Bever walked out onto the now empty dirt lot at 722 Baker Street and presented a proclamation in recognition of Bristol Park’s longevity and contributions to the Costa Mesa community, to two of the three Bristol Park Medical Group founders: Dr. Jack Hagadorn and Jack Hammett.

Immediately following the presentation, the mayor and Hammett were joined by current Bristol Park physicians and executives wielding ribbon bedecked shovels to turn over the dirt, a symbolic turning of the page for Bristol Park’s original Costa Mesa office. “This is great!” said a visibly enthusiastic Dr. Joseph Horesji, of the Costa Mesa office. “I’ve only been here for 21 years, but Bristol Park’s been on this site for almost 50 years, and this ground- breaking represents the start of the next 50 years.

As the rebuilding begins, we’ll keep you updated.
